Today, Alessandro Luciani is the protagonist of a new fascinating adventure born from a human and professional encounter, emblematic of the ‘virtuous contamination between worlds’. Alessandro met Daniela Ciaffardoni, an entrepreneur from the Marche region, owner of the family business that has been producing high-value fragrances for the residential and hotel sectors for 40 years – on the occasion of some retail projects in which the designer used the company’s fragrances as olfactory marketing for the stores.
This is how Luciani’s collaboration was born with the brand conceived by Daniela Ciaffardoni – Danhera – synthesis between her name and that of Hera, goddess of Olympia and wife of Zeus. A brand that creates high-end fragrances through olfactive explorations and fascinating incursions into the world of scents and essences, and whose mission is to tell the story, the myths and the places of perfumes.
Luciani has been chosen for the coordination and creative development of the Danhera brand, not only for the design of installations, displays, exhibitions, corners and potential future monobrand stores, but also for the supervision of the packaging of the brand image and all the creative activities of the company, which has been selected to participate in the 12th edition of Esxence, the most important international event dedicated to Artistic Perfumery, which will be held at the MiCo in Milan, from June 15 to 18, 2022.
For Luciani, this collaboration represents an additional experience to his professional carrier and confirms what characterizes him: the desire to put his talents to use in a constant search for professional comparison that allows him to express himself in a role of co-director in close contact with Daniela, the founder designer and creative soul of the company based in Porto Sant’Elpidio.
Immediate projects include work on the booth at the fair and new packaging for the valuable products to be presented as a world premiere in Milan. There are a number of development activities planned such as the design of a new multiesperential space at the company’s headquarters, corners to be placed in international outlets, as Danhera has distributors in many countries around the world, including Japan and other overseas markets, where the brand is successfully growing in its target niche. Looking forward, it may be possible to consider opening Danhera monobrand stores.
With the Danhera brand which already has in its essence the values of beauty and is distinguished by a strong product identity, I have worked to field new ideas and create solutions that can amplify its development and value. The beginning of this relationship for me is a wonderful challenge and a great honor, which starts under the sign of an extraordinary understanding and great harmony. We curated together the olfactory signature of some stores that Alessandro also wanted to personalize with a strong olfactory experience. These are unique projects, which the company has also carried out for the Venice Biennale at the Corderie dell'Arsenale, for major events such as Zeffirelli's Aida, with olfactory experiences capable of characterizing spaces, events and situations."
