Turning assets into value.
Rome, ITHIC 2023 (Italian Hospitality Investment Conference), the international conference exclusively dedicated to investments in the Italian hospitality, comes back for a new edition in Rome on October 19 and 20, two days dedicated to real estate in the hotel industry.
“Turning assets into value” is the name of the new ITHIC edition that will take place in the exclusive Hotel Villa Pamphili in Rome, a meeting place for international speakers and people who will address insights on issues dedicated to future scenarios in the hospitality investment sector in Italy.
ITHIC 2023 will start from an analysis of the previous year to share perspectives for the future. In fact, the year 2022 ended with a strong recovery in tourism demand for Italy. At the same time, there has been a slowdown in hotel transactions and a macroeconomic situation that is not stable enough to support the generation and closure of new investments. This raises issues related to the creation of value for the country's hospitality assets in the coming years, and what formulas, models and investment strategies can and should be built to create real estate value in a context where interest rates are high and the global macroeconomic context is constantly evolving. How can hotel structures dialogue with the current situation and how can they find the right key to access this new profitability? Also considering the growing popularity of alternative hospitality formats, such as student hotels, glamping, serviced/branded apartments or co-living formulas and/or new hybrid models?

Palazzo delle Stelline, Milano
ITHIC 2023 will delve into each of these themes. The fifth edition will feature extensive networking slots and conference sessions over two full days, covering four thematic tracks:
- Data, business intelligence and negotiation
- Alternative lodging, new accommodation formulas and new business models
- Concept and construction standards, design and planning
- Branding and chain development
This edition will be increasingly international in order to build perspectives and interpret the major challenges of the coming years in advance, relying on new models and patterns of thinking, alongside major global players in the fields of finance, entrepreneurial management and business development.
ITHIC 2023 will also contain an exhibition dedicated to public assets that will be included in valorisation strategies, enriched by a salon for international investors.
