The first edition of the Wellness Hospitality Conference, the conference dedicated to the world of wellness and hospitality, organized by Teamwork Hospitality, which made its debut at NH Hotel in Milan citylife on 22 November 2023, was a great success.
Born from the need to prioritize people’s physical and mental health, the Wellness Hospitality Conference was a full-day event dedicated solely to the evolution of the wellness industry, its influential trends, and the innovative concepts necessary for spa sectors in hotels to cater best to guest services and needs.
The event witnessed over 500 attendees, 30 partner companies, 8 media partners, and 5 supporter companies, featuring 42 Italian and international speakers. It served as a unique platform uniting experts and professionals in the wellness sector, captivating the attention of spa hotels, spas, and medical spas, fostering an enriching environment for idea exchange.

First edition in the name of internationality, with a conference organized in panel discussions in Italian and English, with 5-6 speakers for each panel, coordinated by a moderator. During the conference, several topics were addressed: the future of the sector, the management of wellness centres, spa hotels and spas, the evolution of the market, the critical issues to be faced, the current opportunities to be competitive and in step with the times.Specifically, a broad overview of the "tourism and wellness economy" and a focus on the concept of "Innovative Hospitality Wellness" was provided, examining how hotels can integrate the latest wellness technologies (Welltech) to enrich the guest experience.Particular attention was paid to the design of successful wellness centers, with a comparison on the fundamental pillars and the "secrets" to create spa and wellness centers of excellence that respond to the needs and expectations of customers.Successful case studies and testimonials were the focus of the conference, giving way for industry professionals through a comparison of the different perspectives of SPA Managers and allowing to analyze winning practices and strategies in the world of well-being.
Looking to the future, the analysis focused on emerging trends in wellness hospitality, exploring how demand will evolve in the coming years and how wellness services will adapt to rising consumer expectations.
