Founded in 1999 by the designer Marco Mangili, MMA Projects is an architectural and interior design firm with a national and international consolidated experience. A key figure in defining the company’s strategy and business, Alessandro Vaghi, Director and Partner of MMA Projects, together with Marco Mangili, today carries on the firm's activities in synergy with their teams. MMA Projects is a multicultural and interdisciplinary team of 40 professionals including architects, designers, engineers and researchers specialising in the architectural design of large-scale structures and interior design.
The activity of MMA Projects studio is developed in the main areas of design, from Hospitality to Luxury Residential, from Retail & Leisure, to Corporate Offices and Headquarters. The studio fully manages all phases and flows of the project, from pre-concept and moodboard, to concept and distribution layout, from the technical direction of the works to the artistic and creative direction up to project delivery. MMA Projects delivers turnkey projects internationally on behalf of private clients and/or real estate developers.

Based in Milan with an international vocation since its creation, MMA Projects has a significant presence in Italy and abroad, mainly in the Middle East, Dubai and in China. Indeed, the studio’s first project was a luxurious private residence in Dubai, the Palace AJ, and the Canvas Hotel Dubai MGallery by Sofitel of the Accor chain. These two projects have opened their doors to the market followed by prestigious realisations.
The areas of intervention range from the development from scratch of large-scale architectural projects such as the design of new towers in China, to masterplanning, redevelopment and renovation of residential or hospitality buildings in terms of both architecture and interior design. The identity of the site and the location of the intervention are a priority and an element characterising the whole course of the work.
The studio’s approach is analytical and strongly pragmatic, orientated to experimentation. MMA Projects works on the development and execution of works believing in the micro-specialisation of the individual, in synergetic teamwork together with reliability and flexibility to ensure customised, high quality project results.

Among the most relevant, 100 Progetti Italiani, the Luxury Lifestyle Awards in the Best Luxury Interior Design (Single Residential Project) category in 2022 for the House MD project, Build Architecture Awards in the Most client centric Architecture & Interior Design Studio category in 2020, Archilovers Best Project in 2019 for the Axiom Headquarters project, The Plan Award in 2016 in the Winner category, Future Project for the Axiom Telecom Headquarter project.
