Founded by Gabriele Gascón, Gascón Group is an architecture firm specializing exclusively in the hospitality industry. It is distinguished by its entrepreneurial focus on luxury hotels and private clinics. The group stands out for its unique vision, which is reflected in the studio's motto: "The Italian Hotel & Clinic Signature". Every project undertaken by the studio combines two core values that represent the common denominator: hospitality and care.
With a strong market presence, the firm operates from three strategic locations, which enhance its visibility and operational efficiency. The main headquarters in Lugano, Switzerland, serves as the heart of its activities, while the other two offices—one in Montreux, in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, and the other in Como, Italy—allow the firm to extend its reach, amplifying its design capabilities and ensuring a deep understanding of the specific cultural and architectural needs of each local context.
Through a strong connection between Italy and Switzerland, Gascón Group contributes to the realization of high-quality projects in a constant pursuit of beauty, with a style that reflects the architectural aesthetic charm of Italy. This is influenced by the baroque cultural roots of its founder, originally from Ragusa, as well as the efficiency and meticulous precision typical of Swiss tradition.
Gascón – The Italian Hotel & Clinic Signature is the Italian brand that was born on Swiss soil, merging the excellence of Italian design with the best practices and techniques of Swiss architecture. With this identity, the studio stands out in the development of hotel and clinic projects, where the core of the design is the desire to create environments that foster well-being, balancing comfort, luxury, functionality, and aesthetics. The goal is to develop atmospheres that offer guests a complete and immersive sensory experience. Special attention is given to private clinics, which, as places of total care, are designed to "cleanse" them from the visual impact typical of hospitals, giving them visual well-being.
Sacredness is another key concept in describing the spaces designed by Gascón, emphasizing the desire to offer the experience of that “something special” made of beauty and significance, a feeling that transports one elsewhere, to a place that is, in part, within us.

BIOGRAPHY OF GABRIELE GASCÓN, CEO and FOUNDER
Gabriele Gascón was born in Sicily, in Ragusa, to parents working in the healthcare sector, which led him to experience both the hospital and hospitality worlds from an early age, particularly in relation to healthcare conventions. It was from this background that he developed the idea of introducing a wellness aspect into the hospitality industry, focusing on the well-being of people. He also envisioned transferring the luxury typically found in hotels into clinics, with the aim of providing warmth and vibrancy during difficult times, as opposed to the usual sterile, white interiors. This connection, along with his family's background in construction and carpentry, drew him towards architecture.
During his high school years, he moved to Veneto, first to Verona and then to Rovigo, where he was immersed in the entrepreneurial spirit of his family. He then moved to Rome to study civil engineering and architecture, deepening his passion for this field while absorbing the essence of the Eternal City, completing his first three years of studies at the Politecnico di Milano.
Gascón then relocated to Switzerland, where he furthered his studies at the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, earning a Master of Science in Architecture. In 2009, he began his career as a freelance professional, establishing his office in the Canton of Ticino and in Milan. In 2015, he expanded his entrepreneurial knowledge to create an architecture studio with a solid foundation, but one that could grow into a structured company.
A phase of exploring marketing to understand how it interacts with architecture, combined with his focus on networking, led to the creation of Gascón Group in the subsequent years.
