Green Soul is Laabmilano’s latest creation, realized specially for Green Circle and Milano Home. Its design is insipired from antic amphora of desert people which use terracotta containers to maintain fresh water. Thanks to the exterior heat, the water inside evaporates through the vase’s superficies to create a natural process of water’s temperature reduction.
Laabmilno’s interpreted this millennial technology, combining clay and plant cellulose to create an innovative surface. This structure doesn’t need extreme temperatures to activate the transpiration process: the water wetting the outer surface directly nourishes the seeds and plants growing on it, giving them life.
Green Soul goes beyond the traditional concept of a pot: it does not house soil and plants inside but encourages the growth of vegetation on its outer surface, without the use of soil. It is also a perfect green solution for growing herbs and plants for culinary use directly in the kitchen, eliminating the need for soil and simplifying care.
