Founded in Treviso in 1873 and today one of the brands of Bardelli Group, Appiani produces ceramic mosaics for architecture, combining a constant aesthetic research with a high technological content. For the 150th anniversary of the brand, Appiani introduced on market a new format, presenting the collection “EDEN”.
Appiani is ceramic for architecture with high aesthetic content for the maximum expression of creativity linked to functionality. "Esagonine" represents a product which link tradition and innovation, with a ri-edition of the hexagonal “shapes” of ceramic mosaic in a new porcelain stoneware support.
The inspiration of the new collection came from the floor of Eden Theatre in Treviso, opened on 5th January 1911. An example of Liberty architecture, as well as ambitious project of the industrialist Graziano Appiani, founder of the homonymous Ceramica Appiani 1873.
The EDEN collection is based on Appiani’s concept and innovative design skills. A collection of ceramic mosaic tiles developed in 18 colors of soft and dusty tones in both polished and matt version rigorously obtained through the exclusive technology of the Appiani factory, the “monopressocottura”, a production technique that allows to obtain ceramic products whose glazes and clays are pressed dry. The high cooking temperature guarantees the product exceptional qualities of durability, resistance and frost resistance ideal for multiple applications on the floor and covering, both indoor and outdoor.
The EDEN collection by Appiani offers a mosaic mounted on a mesh of 30x30cm sheets, with tiles in the 2,4x2,8cm format that are considered a timeless evergreen of hexagonal geometry that characterize the new collection of porcelain tiles by Appiani.
