Studio ovre.design®, which is an artistic director, interior and product designer specialist in luxury hospitality, has recently renovated Junior Suite design at the Hotel Baia del Mar. Strategically positioned by the Jesolo seafront, Hotel Baia del Mar is a 4 stars superior boutique-hotel with an elegant and chic ambiance, and authentic excellence in hospitality.
The core of the concept conceived by the studio revolves around creating distinctive suites, by transforming them into experiential havens overlooking the sea. This creates a perfect harmony with the identity of the structure and its estate. Between the fourth and fifth floors of the building, the Junior Suites stand out for an extraordinarily well-crafted design which aims to provide guests with an elegant stay.
The entrance immediately reveals a sophisticated combination of contemporary design elements. The design had to focus on the well-being of the individual by reorganizing the setup in terms of space. To do so, it was substantial to merge multiple rooms and integrate the bathroom and beauty area into the bedroom, while still maintaining privacy at the same time.
Junior Suite renovation translates in Wellness Room and valorizes the luxury experience by uniting the hotel room comfort with the services of the wellness structures. The original element real showpiece of the suites, is the installed private sauna and separated by a glass door, giving the impression of space and lightness. To make the sauna unique, there is a window overlooking the sea, offering a panoramic view and creating a connection with nature. The wellness area extends to the terrace, featuring an outdoor bathtub.
The finishing touches and the materials used, of the highest quality, have been chosen and studied to contribute to the wellness idea. A contemporary boiserie (wood panel) with semi-transparent glass wall and frosted glass separates the sauna and the bathroom area from the other areas of the suite; creating a visual division that strikes a balance between intimacy and spaciousness.
The living area is modern and characterized by a boiserie extending on the vertical side and converging with the roof by giving a sophisticated style to the suite. The chromatic harmony of the materials, textures and presence of a perfectly integrated bar. The interior is defined by soft and bright colors in contrast to the vibrant furniture's vibrant red. Except for the armchairs, the furniture is custom designed by ovre.design® studio.
The finishing touches in wood offer brightness and warmness. The natural oak wood, chosen for its intrinsic qualities of beauty and resilience, has been paired with a dove-colored lacquered finish in strip portions. This constitutes a perfect visual and sensory combination that, in addition to aesthetic value, evokes a connection with nature and encourages the pursuit of psychophysical well-being.
The living area blends seamlessly with the sleeping area. To act as a space divider, ovre.design® has crafted a wired headboard that combines design and functionality. The space has been designed with the bed oriented towards the sea, allowing guests to enjoy the sound of the waves accompanied by the sea breeze entering the room, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere.
The interior design project by ovre.design® stands out for its attention to detail and meticulous care in the choice and placement of lighting elements. Every aspect has been conceived with the utmost precision, considering every variable, from color temperature to different light intensities. For this reason, various lighting systems have been used. The living area has seen the installation of pendants with a significant stylistic impact, integrated with LED strip lights. The addition of specific spotlights has been designed to illuminate the pathway in the room during nighttime hours.
