Orizzonti Sospesi: the new Zambaiti Contract collection, designed by Marco Piva
Material, color, and volume come together in a cohesive design narrative: Orizzonti Sospesi is the new collection by Zambaiti Contract, a brand of Zambaiti Parati and a division specialized in collaborations with architecture studios and developers for tailor-made projects in the real estate sector. The collection, designed by Marco Piva, is the result of in-depth aesthetic research combined with careful technical development, expressing a refined balance between design vision and innovation.
Orizzonti Sospesi stems from the idea of capturing movement in its quietest moment. Landscapes, lines, and natural elements are observed at the instant when flow is interrupted and time seems to hold its breath. Flowers stirred by the wind, trees crossed by light, drifting clouds, flowing streams: each design is a fragment of landscape frozen in a frame. The surface thus becomes a shot, a space in which natural dynamism is transformed into balance and contemplation. Orizzonti Sospesi does not represent movement, it suspends it. It is an invitation to observe what usually flows, slow it down, and turn it into a visual experience.

The collection is composed of five textures—Scia, Petali, Bosco, Riva, and Altitudine—each defined by its own expressive and material identity, conceived to interpret the relationship between nature and perception in different ways. The Scia texture unfolds as a soft, enveloping surface, marked by light, continuous movements that evoke the passage of a trace over time, like a visual echo suspended between presence and fading. Petali, on the other hand, introduces a delicate, ethereal composition in which barely suggested floral forms emerge subtly, evoking a poetic and contemplative dimension. The Bosco texture reveals a natural depth shaped by layers and overlaps, where vegetal elements intertwine in a soft, nuanced rendering, conveying the sensation of an immersive and silent space. Riva is a fluid and dynamic texture, built on gentle transitions and continuous shifts, recalling the meeting of natural elements in transformation, balanced between stability and movement. Altitudine, instead, presents an airy and expansive surface that suggests openness and suspension, evoking vast, rarefied landscapes where the perception of space becomes more abstract and contemplative. Each texture conveys a sense of lightness, translating nature into a poetic and silent presence capable of shaping domestic settings with utmost subtlety.
Entirely composed of digital panels, the collection is conceived as a custom solution, offering flexible management and perfect adaptability to any design requirement. Each panel can be sized, combined, and positioned according to the context, allowing the graphics to harmonize with the architecture and the use of space.

The defining feature of the collection lies in its outstanding technical versatility: the designs can be printed on 18 different substrates, allowing each decoration to be applied across a wide range of surfaces. These are divided into the four categories developed by Zambaiti Contract: Z Acoustic, sound-absorbing; Z Waterproof, water-repellent; Z Protection, fire-retardant; and Z Pareti Vive, an eco-friendly substrate that introduces an innovative sustainable base made from rice starch, alongside refined, textural finishes such as jute and silk. All substrates are designed to deliver high performance and quality standards, meeting a wide variety of needs and adapting seamlessly to any living environment.
The Orizzonti Sospesi collection, created in collaboration with Marco Piva, strengthens the brand’s positioning in the contract and hospitality sectors, fields in which Zambaiti Parati has long been a benchmark, thanks to its ability to develop tailor-made solutions for complex and articulated contexts such as public spaces, hotels, restaurants, museums, ships, and international projects.

New substrates and new textures: Zambaiti Contract continues its commitment to innovation in materials and surfaces.
Zambaiti Contract presents important new developments for 2026, strengthening its research in the field of materials and surfaces dedicated to the contract sector. The new offering stems from careful research focused on sustainability, performance, and aesthetic value. Among the key introductions is a new textile substrate made from recycled cotton, enhanced by a sophisticated 3D-printed texture that combines visual depth with a rich material quality. This is complemented by new textures on 420 g laminated substrates, available in gold, silver, and matte white finishes, designed to create elegant and contemporary decorative surfaces. Other innovations include a sound-absorbing velvet panel characterized by embossed geometric patterns in relief, combining aesthetic quality with acoustic comfort, ideal for environments where sound well-being is essential. Completing the range is a 600 g fire-retardant substrate with new textures, highly resistant to impact and wear, developed to ensure maximum durability and safety even in the most demanding, high-traffic contract environments.
